Happy New Year to everyone! (Maybe it is too late to say this at this point?) Welcome to the first update for 2025. We have quite a bit to share!
Extension updates
Our Chrome Extension has grown from a couple hundred users to several thousand users. By far one of our most popular ways to use VetRec. It provides the ability to have VetRec side by side with your PiMS or other content on the computer. We have added several improvements to help the Chrome Extension be a full fledge client. Including: Help / Support built-in, Thumbs up / down to provide feedback, mark visits as completed and ability to re-generate notes directly from the extension.
Introduction of organizations
We introduced Teams within VetRec 9 months ago to help users organize, share and collaborate. Since then, we have seen more complex organizations adopt VetRec as their Scribe. Including large hospitals with 100+ doctors who separate their doctors into teams / departments, as well as groups that have dozens of clinics that each is its own team. The number #1 ask in this cases was to provide a way to manage users, templates and information across teams. By introducing Organizations, we now allow these controls.
If you would like to setup an Organization for your teams, reach out to us at support@vetrec.io. We expect to make Organizations self-serve in the coming months, with the introduction of our Admin Center (coming soon!).
App Updates
We realized in the last couple months, that our mobile apps were missing some pretty key features that our users on web love! So we did something about it. We have updated our app to include:
In addition to that, we heard a lot of feedback that the reliability of our upload on iOS was not great. So we did something about that to. In our latest update, we improved reliability to ensure uploads are more consistent.
