Phew! September was quite a busy month for VetRec and we are excited to share some updates with you, so lets get started!
You might have seen us around a couple different conferences including IVECCS, VetForum, and PNWVC. To many of you who have joined us since then, we welcome you!
We also announced our first academic partnership with Cornell’s College of Veterinary Medicine to provide AI powered scribing across their hospital!
Records Recap now supports 1000+ pages
One of the most highly anticipated features by many of our specialist doctors, records recap now support up to 500 pages worth medical history. In the process of supporting more pages we have revamped the feature from the ground up to be faster, more accurate and thorough. Early feedback from some of our super users is outstanding and we are excited to share it with everyone!
Template Library has 15+ templates ranging from exotics to specialty to ER.
Behind the scenes we have been crafting a large library of templates across specialties, practice types, and animals. Many of you have already seen some of these templates as we will add them to your account by request. Today, we are adding them directly to our Template Library so you can easily add them to your account directly. Here are instructions on how to add them to your account!
Activity Log for Visit
When did the visit start? Who processed it? Who made changes to the notes? These are all key questions you have asked us to answer. To provide greater visibility into who is collaborating on visits and what actions are being taken, we have added a robust auditing overview for each visit. This includes timestamps for all major actions done on the visit, from visit start to export into your PiMS.
Usage Analytics for teams
Understanding the usage of VetRec across your team is crucial in understanding the ROI of VetRec within your practice. To help, we are rolling out analytics to show you utilization of the product. This feature is available only for teams within VetRec. If you would like early access please email us at support@vetrec.io.
🐾 Multi-pet support
To better support all kinds of situations vets see every day, we are adding improved support for multiple pets. Our goal is that you can record once and let VetRec figure out the information for each pet and generate individual notes for each.
📁 Multi-document support
Sometimes you want to generate several documents off a single visit. That today requires you to overwrite any existing documents. Not cool, we know. To enable better workflows, we will be allowing you to generate multiple documents for a single visit. For example, on a single visit you will be able to have multiple documents like a medical record, a surgery report, an abdominal ultrasound report, a client discharge summary, and a kid’s story ;). All under the same visit!
📞 Phone Call Notes
Let VetRec help with generating summaries and notes from phone calls to client. Simply connect VetRec to the call and let VetRec process the information. Add recordings directly into existing visits or create standalone notes for a call.
🖼️ Image Support in Records Recap
To better enable you to use Records Recap for all your notes (including handwritten notes!), we are working to support summarizing information from images that are present in PDFs you upload!
Some of you may have heard already but we have a super-friendly referral program for all of our VetRec users 🙂
