VetRec continues to get better and better, we're thrilled to share all the updates we released in August! A huge thanks to all the veterinarians who use VetRec daily and share their valuable feedback. Keep it coming! We're committed to addressing your suggestions and rolling out updates as quickly as possible. Let's dive into what's new!
👤 Client Communications Templates: VetRec now allows you to create different types of client communication documents like discharges, rDVM letters, emails and more. Client Communications can be tweaked to fit different styles from casual to technical. You can even generate a kids friendly story based on patient to have everyone involved.
🚀Pre-History is now Records Recap. We improved workflows to make it easier to summarize records even for visits that haven’t happened.
In August, we spent countless hours improving several parts of the platform to improve the quality of the service including:
⚡ Higher reliability in app uploads to ensure upload speed is faster across both cellular and WiFi networks. We know you need to move between patients quickly so these improvements will help with that.
🐶 Improved add to visit workflow to maintain context like what template has been used and previous consent provided
🔢 Improvements in usage of numbers and units to ensure even complex units are correctly used in your notes.
🖌️ More styling options Abnormals added: colored and upper cased.
🔠 Updated glossary to improve medications and diagnostic names.
Let VetRec help with generating summaries and notes from phone calls to client. Simply connect VetRec to the call and let VetRec process the information. Add recordings directly into existing visits or create standalone notes for a call.
To better enable you to use Records Recap for all your notes (including handwritten notes!), we are working to support summarizing information from images that are present in PDFs you upload!
To better support all kinds of situations vets see every day, we are adding improved support for multiple pets. Our goal is that you can record once and let VetRec figure out the information for each pet and generate individual notes for each.
